Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Development: Identify new clients and projects, collaborate with team to pursue opportunities.
  2. Client Expansion: Leverage existing relationships and project portfolio to grow service offerings.
  3. Leadership: Build and lead teams to deliver exceptional client service.
  4. Project Management: Manage projects from planning through construction, ensuring quality.
  5. Brand Development: Enhance personal and company brand, identify new opportunities.
  6. Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning using marketing insights and client relationships.
  7. Staff Development: Hire and develop staff for team success.
  8. Proposal Oversight: Lead project positioning, proposal development, and client interviews.
  9. Project Development: Oversee scope, schedules, fees, staffing, and coordination.
  10. Travel: Travel to client sites and Kennedy Jenks offices as needed.
  11. Project Contribution: Manage projects or serve as team member to meet delivery goals.

Qualifications

  • Local Market Expertise: Strong knowledge of water, wastewater, pipeline, stormwater, and environmental consulting.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Experience in business development, negotiation, and client management.
  • Team Building: Ability to foster collaboration and inclusive leadership.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent writing, research, and verbal skills.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years relevant experience.
  • Education: BS or MS in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, or related engineering; PE license required or immediate ability; Design-Build and DBIA certification a plus.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to client sites and offices.

Work Flexibility

Hybrid model of home and office work to support work-life balance.

Compensation

Salary range: $150,000 - $220,000, based on experience and location.
