Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and promote teamwork with effective communication
  • Provide pricing guidance and review corporate negotiated rates
  • Understand hotel operations including food & beverage, guest services, reservations
  • Adhere to sales policies and SOPs
  • Drive customer loyalty and deliver service excellence
  • Manage RFP season with GM and Regional Sales
  • Complete solicitation, closing, and customer communication documentation
  • Identify and pursue new and repeat business via prospecting, visits, and networking
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and demand opportunities
  • Monitor pricing strategies and market demand
  • Participate in revenue and expense forecasting
  • Conduct competitor analysis and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Implement new sales programs and track ROI
  • Oversee marketing efforts and budget plans
  • Set and monitor team goals for sales activities and revenue
  • Abide by Prime Time Selling hours and perform other duties as assigned
Education and Skills
  • Bachelors Degree in Hotel Administration, Business, or Marketing
  • At least 5 years of progressive hotel sales experience with leadership responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills and revenue management understanding
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
