Day-to-Day Activities:

As an assembly technician, your daily work and expected experiences should include but are not limited to:

  • Installing and assembling walls, windows, doors, floors, roofs, electrical harnesses, appliances, plumbing, cabinet installation, assembling metal fabrications, riveting, drilling, milling, routing, stapling, cutting, gluing, trimming, cleaning, screwing, lifting, reporting, and testing.

Job Description:

In order to meet the company's goals and standards, the assembly technician will need to:

  • Maintain a safe and clean working station by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Prepare for a job by studying blueprint specifications, reading assembly manuals, and being familiar with parts lists, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Assemble components by examining cohesion of parts, fit, and manuals, using various hand and power tools.
  • Verify specifications by ensuring quality control.
  • Resolve assembly problems and notify supervisors to report or advise on solutions when needed.
  • Maintain operational equipment by following manufacturer recommendations, completing maintenance, and calling for repairs.
  • Conserve resources by using exact equipment and supplies needed to complete tasks.
  • Be efficient with all tools and equipment needed for the job.
  • Have the ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • May be required to perform other related duties as needed.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Basic Required Qualifications and Education:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as an RV assembly technician.
  • Basic computer and touch pad device skills.
  • Knowledge of industrial and shop safety rules and procedures.
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • RVTI certified is a plus.
  • Overtime work is required when needed by the company.
  • Seeking candidates with a positive attitude and strong work ethics.
  • Ability to bring necessary tools to perform job functions (negotiable).
  • Ability to communicate in verbal and written form in English.
  • Must be able to pass random drug screenings.
  • Must possess a valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Conditions of Employment:

Successful candidates must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
