Job Details

Design manufacturing tooling and equipment for production and engineering development projects. Create new and modify existing drawings for production needs. Work with Supply Chain to ensure parts are manufactured correctly and delivered on schedule. Provide requested drawings to Engineers and Technicians. Research equipment and materials best suited for an application based on requirements provided.

Interfacing with production to update design requests, tool and or piece modifications. Working with Supply chain to provide technical support for part delivery and quality.

Required Skills

1. 1-3 years of SolidWorks experience
2. 1-3 years of experience with Microsoft Excel
3. Experience interfacing across multiple teams
4. Work well in team with other mechanical designers
5. Communicate with Supply Chain and suppliers

Desired Skills

1. Prototyping design review and iterations
2. Experience with 3D Printing
3. Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
