Position Overview: The Field Admissions Representative finds passionate and motivated students who desire to learn and develop their skills at Universal Technical Institute. This role involves working closely with local high schools to recruit students and build awareness of UTI and its programs. The Representative will work within a territory of approximately 120 miles radius.

The ideal candidate will have a customer-focused, extroverted style that can engage, motivate, and positively impact individuals. Enjoy making connections and communicating with people, proactively establishing relationships, and following established guidelines and procedures. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment while managing priorities effectively is essential.

*This is a remote position, requiring the candidate to currently reside and travel within the Santa Rosa, CA area.*

Responsibilities

  • Building Relationships: Develop new relationships and strengthen existing partnerships with dealerships, industry partners, high schools, and local communities.
  • Events: Conduct in-person presentations at high schools and represent UTI at offsite events.
  • Consultative Approach: Conduct informative interviews with prospective students, maintaining CRM database for follow-up.
  • Public Speaking and Presentations: Present to educators at high schools and educational institutions to promote UTI programs.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of UTI programs and financing options to answer questions effectively.
  • Metrics: Meet or exceed enrollment goals through outreach efforts, adhering to compliance standards, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Public speaking preferred; industry knowledge and 3-5 years outside sales experience preferred.
  • Background Check: Must pass background check, including MVR.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills; comfortable conducting interviews both in person and virtually.
  • Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation and sales abilities.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office; capable of analyzing and reporting data.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships, work independently, manage a territory, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a customer service attitude.
