What You'll Do

• Lead at Scale: Manage and mentor multiple engineering teams focused on innovative customer-facing applications.
• Drive Product Strategy: Collaborate closely with Product, Design, ML, and Marketing teams to define and execute a roadmap that emphasizes engagement, community-building, and content-driven growth.
• Foster Engineering Excellence: Promote a culture dedicated to quality, experimentation, and metrics-driven development.
• Develop and Grow Talent: Mentor engineering leaders and support their professional growth through coaching, goal-setting, and robust accountability frameworks.
• Build an Inclusive Culture: Cultivate a workplace environment that embodies diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Influence Organizational Strategy: Contribute to the overall engineering organization practices and help shape cross-functional collaboration as we scale.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years in technical roles, including 4+ years in engineering management with a focus on second-line leadership.
• A proven history of leading impactful, cross-functional product teams in fast-paced settings.
• A strong foundation in developing consumer-facing applications across web and/or mobile platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with contemporary technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Go, Python, React, Swift/SwiftUI, GCP, Redis, Pub/Sub, and Elasticsearch.
• Experience collaborating with Data Science and ML teams, particularly in areas like personalization, content ranking, or relevance systems.
• Adept at aligning teams with business outcomes while scaling engineering operations and nurturing culture.
