Job Description

As a Territory Manager for our Fiberon decking brand, you will work with customers of all sizes to achieve sales goals by maintaining and growing relationships with Distributors, Dealers, and construction professionals. With support from the inside sales and marketing team, you will implement promotions, programs, and processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in decking or building materials, outside sales, be highly autonomous, and able to travel overnight approximately 8-10 times a month.

This remote position is based in North Bay, California. The territory covers Northern California north of Santa Rosa, stretching to the Southwestern Oregon Coast.

Responsibilities include:

  • Achieving sales, margin, and expense budgets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Improving KPIs such as Fiberon Market Share, Dealer Share, Product Positions, and Builder Share.
  • Acquiring and retaining key dealers and users.
  • Optimizing local distribution channels to grow market share.
  • Developing an annual business plan with the Regional Manager to exceed financial targets.
  • Conducting semi-annual joint business planning meetings with the RM and local distributors.
  • Utilizing CRM and the company's sales process effectively and consistently.
  • Making effective presentations via F2F and Go To Meeting (GTM) to groups of all sizes.
  • Providing feedback on competitive programs, promotions, and tactics.
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Valid State-issued Driver's license
  • 4+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in millwork or building materials
  • Residency within the core geography
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Enjoys public speaking and demonstrating products and company advantages to groups

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Professional sales training or certification
  • CRM experience (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English

Additional Information

Salary range: $81,000 - $113,000 USD. Compensation includes base salary, potential bonuses, or sales incentives.
