You will report to the Procurement Market Intelligence and Analytics Sr. Manager.

This is a hybrid position, with the opportunity to work remotely as well as from the assigned headquarters in Oakland. Candidates must reside in the San Francisco Bay area.

About the Role

As a Strategic Procurement Program Manager, you will take charge of high-impact programs that enhance operational excellence and strategic value across the Procurement function. Your responsibilities will include managing crucial programs like the Sourcing Project Plan and Enterprise Spend Cube, in collaboration with Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Analytics teams. Additionally, you will lead cross-functional initiatives aimed at bolstering Procurement strategy, performance, and data maturity.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in regulatory and industry forums in your area of expertise.
• Lead the development of program goals and metrics to align with company objectives, collaborating across the organization.
• Manage significant cross-functional projects and initiatives.
• Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to enhance team capabilities and foster a high-performance culture.
• Identify and solve complex challenges, while innovating effective solutions.
• Facilitate collaboration with stakeholders across Procurement and various departments including Finance, IT, and Operations to ensure alignment with overall enterprise strategies.
• Influence marketplace and regulatory strategies by providing input to leadership and industry decision-makers.
• Conduct strategic workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to facilitate alignment and decision-making.
• Integrate industry knowledge into daily business practices and decision-making processes.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to procurement leadership, recommending process optimization and organizational designs for efficiency gains.
• Develop and execute Lean strategies to identify and eliminate inefficiencies within Procurement.
• Oversee change management efforts to guarantee adoption of process improvements and technology deployments.
• Create sophisticated data models to inform business decisions.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience along with 7+ years in project management specific to procurement, strategic programs, or consulting.

Desired Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
• Change Management Certification (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
• Lean Six Sigma Certification.
• Expertise in utilizing business understanding to drive strategic decisions and recommend operational improvements.
• Ability to influence stakeholders through data analysis and actionable insights.
• In-depth knowledge of business and industry drivers.
• Skill in crafting compelling business cases based on complex environments.
• Adeptness in managing issues with diplomacy and tact.
• Proven experience in leading strategic initiatives within procurement.
