Hybrid Role, must be flexible

Role Objective:
Lead and manage full-cycle accounting operations with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

What You'll Do:

  1. Manage and execute all aspects of the monthly accounting close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  2. Oversee accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
  3. Maintain the fixed asset register, record additions/disposals, and calculate depreciation.
  4. Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and subledgers.
  5. Prepare internal and external financial reporting packages.
  6. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure proper accounting treatment of business activities.
  7. Support audit activities and other compliance requirements.
  8. Drive process improvements and contribute to system enhancements, particularly within NetSuite.

What a Typical Day Looks Like:

  • Managing journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Reviewing financial data and preparing reports for leadership.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to validate inventory and asset records.
  • Working directly with auditors and staying ahead of compliance deadlines.
  • Leveraging NetSuite and Excel to streamline reporting and analysis.

Must-Haves:

  1. 7+ years of broad accounting experience across the close process.
  2. Strong understanding of AR and fixed asset accounting.
  3. Corporate accounting experience with consumer goods, pharma, nutraceuticals, or biotech is a plus.
  4. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with NetSuite (Navan expense management a bonus).
  5. Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  6. High energy, collaborative mindset, and eagerness to contribute in a fast-paced setting.
