Job Title: Social Services Practitioner (MSW)
Standard shift: Days
Weekly schedule: 5x8
Schedule Notes: 08:00 AM - 04:30 M-F. Flexibility for weekend coverage nice, doesn't happen often.
Description:
Only considering LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.
BSW would even be considered.
Renders clinical psychosocial services to the patients and their families of all ages (neonate to geriatric).
Assesses patient's psychosocial needs and makes referrals to appropriate facilities or community agencies; and provides crisis intervention and bereavement counseling.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's): Required
Master's Degree in social work or equivalent combination of education/experience: Required
Licensing/Certification:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW): Preferred
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM): Required
BLS required.
CPI training offered onsite.
Experience:
Three years' experience in a social agency, hospital, or other organization dealing with health and/or welfare: Preferred
Psych/Behavioral experience preferred.
