About the Role:

The Director of Strategic Finance & FP&A will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making across the company. This role is highly hands-on, involving Excel modeling, dashboard building, leading a team of analysts, and business partnering with client executives to improve financial processes and optimize resource allocation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment, demonstrating a strong growth mindset, leadership skills, and a drive for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute financial strategies to drive growth and optimize profitability.
• Partner with product management to assess new product launches, pricing strategies, and market expansion opportunities.
• Work with the channel partner team to analyze performance metrics, enhance partner profitability, and drive go-to-market strategies.
• Lead financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
• Provide insights through KPI reporting and dashboard development to measure product and channel performance.
• Align financial plans with broader business strategies, ensuring agility in execution.

Business Partnership & Collaboration:

• Serve as a key liaison between finance, product management, and sales teams, driving alignment on strategic initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops and executive meetings to ensure clear communication and decision-making.
• Engage directly with client executives, providing financial insights and recommendations to optimize business performance.
• Lead and mentor an FP&A team, including shared services resources in India, fostering analytical rigor and strategic thinking.
• Develop and implement training initiatives to strengthen financial modeling, analysis, and business partnership capabilities.

Process Improvement & Optimization:

• Identify and implement efficiencies in financial reporting, planning, and forecasting processes.
• Leverage technology and automation to improve financial analysis accuracy and speed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance roles.
• Experience in technology industries, particularly in a services business, is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams—especially in product management, sales, and channel operations.
• Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to ambiguity and shifting priorities.
