The Accelerated Schools (TAS) is seeking a Chief Financial Officer.

TAS is currently seeking a CFO to join an exceptional team of educators who are committed to building a world-class educational program that offers a mix of academic, cultural, and community-focused programming for the youth of South Los Angeles. At TAS, educational equity is continuously creating and implementing practices that are culturally responsive and honoring voices from all educational and community partners. Through curiosity, inquiry, self and system reflection, we disrupt inequitable systems so that students graduate in four years, college, career, and/or life ready.

TAS is comprised of one TK-6 school, one TK-8 school, and one high school with approximately 1,740 students enrolled.

TAS is funded by Fund 62 with a budget of $44.6 million and is supported by the Accelerated School Foundation.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, or a combination of relevant education, training, and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
2. Master's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, school administration, or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred.
3. Experience in public school business operations in a supervisory or management role (charter school setting preferred).
4. Completion of CBO program certification or training is preferred.
5. CPA license is preferred.
