Accounts Payable Specialist @ Entertainment Company

Coda Search is partnering with a global media company that is seeking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist with offices in LA County, CA. This is a dynamic position that would sit in the sports representation division where the team represents some high-profile and well-known athletes across the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLS. This role will be responsible for performing full cycle accounts payable processing, coding, and allocating costs into the GL in addition to assisting with the month-end close and working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

The company has been growing aggressively over the course of the last few years and has big plans for 2024 as it continues to expand its operations across music, entertainment, and media production.

Responsibilities:

• Perform full cycle accounts payable processing, coding, and allocating costs
• Oversee vendors and answer any inbound or outbound questions
• Fields accounts payables inquiries from internal customers and external vendors
• File and maintain all paid and unpaid invoices and statements
• Research all vendor discrepancies and follow up on all adjustments
• Assist with the annual audit and prepare any supporting documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
• 1.5+ years of accounts payable or cash management experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Hybrid schedule – 2 days in office

Base pay range: $65,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr
