Duffy's Napa Valley Treatment Center is hiring for entry-level position of Behavioral Health Associates (BHA) Since 1967, Duffy's Napa Valley Rehab has been providing detox and addiction treatment for adults in northern California. Behavioral Health Associates are responsible for providing personal care services to patients at the facility under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Include:
* Demonstrate a sense of urgency related to the importance of patient safety and provide excellent customer services.
* Complete and maintain required documentation. Assist with follow-up and paperwork as required on incidents and events that may take place in the facility.
* Responsible for conducting safety checks and ensuring that supervision is conducted at 15 minute intervals, as noted in special precautions, or in accordance with individualized supervision guidelines as needed.
* Interact routinely with patients, observe behaviors and communicate significant observations to nursing staff.
* May oversee or assist patients with activities of daily living, including toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, meals, snacks, hydration and changing bed linens.
* Facilitate patient educational-rehabilitative groups which cover a variety of topics including social skills, coping skills, anger management and independent living skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be 21 years of age or older
* High school diploma required
* Detail oriented in both observation and application
* Team-oriented personality, abilities, and willingness
SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Organizational skills - proficient
* Relational-people skills - excellent
* Telephone communication skills - excellent
* Computer - MS (Word & Excel) and experience with electronic record keeping - proficient
* Familiarity with 12-step Recovery preferred
* RADT certification required (or to be acquired upon hire)

Compensation for roles at Duffy's Rehab varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Duffy's Rehab provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California set forth below.
