Role Summary:
As a Structural Project Manager, you will lead the charge from project conception to completion, overseeing both internal and external aspects. This role requires a proactive approach to project management, utilizing your expertise in engineering and design to bring projects to fruition. You will serve as the primary liaison with clients, ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of satisfaction and that the relationship remains strong and positive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of project management, from proposal to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
- Client Relations: Serve as the firm's direct contact with clients, fostering and maintaining strong relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
- Team Coordination: Direct and coordinate with staff and consultants, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and client expectations.
- Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities, contributing to the growth and success of the firm.
- Quality Assurance: Review and approve engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Mentorship and Training: Mentor junior staff, providing guidance and training in engineering design principles and best practices.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering or project management.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in California or equivalent credentials.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam Civil 3D, Revit, and other engineering software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing successful projects.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform light physical tasks.
- Capability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Good vision and hearing, and manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment.
