About Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley
We are looking to build our team! Situated at the northern end of Napa Valley off the famed Silverado Trail, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley will offer experiences will capture the imagination of even the most seasoned wine country visitors.
BASIC PURPOSE: The Residential Room Attendant ensures the cleanliness and perfection of the residential areas of the residences. They also support the Self Inspector/Public Area Attendants by ensuring guest room supplies are well stocked, trash and debris are removed as well as other cleaning duties as assigned. This person is also responsible for back of the house cleaning and for delivery of guest request items to guest rooms. This is a Part-Time position, must have weekend availability!
ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS:
- Keeps all guest and residence corridors neat, vacuumed, mopped, swept and dusted.
- Provides genuine hospitality and recognition in the work area. Promotes hotel services and products.
- Anticipates guest needs and takes ownership of guest concerns and requests; acts decisively to ensure guest satisfaction. Offers a special service touch when an opportunity is presented.
- Proficient in the safe handling of all relevant equipment and machinery; reports defects and accidents to management immediately;
- Inspects and remove all carpet and fabric stains;
- Makes sure mirrors, furniture, floors; elevators wall, floors and, tracks and doors are clean, mark-free and dust free;
- Cleans and dust vents as needed;
- Cleans baseboards and skirting board and light fixtures
- Checks and clean stairwells
- Sweeps and mop back of the house hallway and stairs
- Specials projects such as: mattress flipping, deep cleaning, inventory of operating supplies such as extra beds and cribs, refrigerators, microwave, inventory of cleaning and guest supplies, cleaning of the vacuums, high dusting, moving furniture
- Keeps all service elevator landings, stairwells and linen storage rooms clean by sweeping, mopping and dusting the areas; At the end of the shift, make sure to clean the vacuum/broom/mop pad and empty the bag of trash.
- Moves racks of clean room linen to guest room floors;
- In the absence of the laundry attendant, stocks and maintain linen Storage Rooms as per agreed par stock, sort the soiled linen and prepare it to have it ready for the laundry company to pick up.
- Stocks armoires daily with supplies and amenities, as per agreed par stock.
- Empties trash and dirty linen from guest room floors and ensure we are recycling;
- Assists Housekeepers as required: Help move beds and furniture, turn mattresses, remove or hang sheers and drapes;
- Picks up and delivers guest request items on a timely basis such as cribs, roll-away and other guests requests.
- To maintain a high standard of personal appearance - ensuring that your uniform is clean and presentable all times:
- Report to work on time. Is aware of schedule at all times and if unable to attend work, notifies the Supervisor in adequate time.
- To be responsible for collecting and signing for work sheet and review it for any questions.
- Get a master key at the start of duty. Report any loss of key immediately to supervisor and Security; Return the key always before leaving the property.
- Sign in/out on the payroll sheet or swipe id card in/out
- Report to assigned areas(s) with required keys, equipment, supplies, etc.
- Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors;
- Carries out any other related duties as specified by your Supervisor;
- Be familiar with the Emergency, Fire and Safety Procedures;
- Conduct self in a professional manner at all times. Adheres to the established standard of conduct and house rules, fire regulations, and department procedures and policies.
- Report to work on time. Is aware of schedule at all times and if unable to attend work, notifies the Supervisor in adequate time.
- Complies with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in areas of Housekeeping, laundry coverage and phone coverage when needed.
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Education:
- High School education or equivalent experiences.
Experience:
- Preferred experience in a luxury hotel in Housekeeping or equivalent with Four Seasons or another organization.
- Preferred experience in residential house cleaning.
Skills and Abilities:
- Have a high level of attention to detail.
- Knowledge and the ability to operate cleaning equipment.
- Ability to understand and working knowledge of English.
- Hold a valid driving license in order to operate golf carts and have a clean driving record.
- Must be flexible with schedule - Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening/overnight shifts
