Account Clerk llJob Location: Santa Rosa, CaliforniaJob Type: TemporaryPay Rate: $20-$23/hourSchedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PMDescription of Position:We are looking for an accounting clerk to help a government office for the next few months (approximately 90-days).Key Responsibilities:Answering the main phone line: helping people with pet license payments, answering questions about stray or adoptable animals, explaining laws, ordinances rules and regulationsEntering activity calls into the system, Chameleon database, for animal control officer responseHelping customers at the counter: process animal adoptions, stray animal and spay/neuter intake, stray animal pick up (return to owner), microchip implant requests, service animal tagsTake payments for dog and cat licenses, adoptions, impound fees, owner surrender fees, and quarantine feesHelp people find a stray or adoptable animalAssist current and potential volunteersAnswer general questionsDescription of Company:Join a government agency in a city in Sonoma county, dedicated to serving the community with efficiency and integrity.Experience Required:Familiarity with MS Office Suite, including data entryCash handling experienceCustomer service experienceStrong interpersonal skillsSimilar Positions:Administrative ClerkAccounting AssistantOffice AssistantBookkeeping ClerkBolt Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.
