Description:

Our client, a global medical device leader in the mental health vertical, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to oversee a high-performing team of 9 territory sales professionals across multiple regions, including the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Orange County, Arizona, Texas, Denver, and the Pacific Northwest. The position is open due to growth, as the previous manager just moved into a director seat.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and track individual and team sales goals, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
  • Requires ~50% travel to conduct regular in-person visits to each territory (approximately 2 days per week per region) to support and coach team members, meet with key clients, and monitor market dynamics.
  • Dedicate Mondays to administrative tasks, including sales reporting, strategy planning, and other office-related activities.
  • Ensure clear communication with the Sales Director, reporting on team progress, challenges, and opportunities.


Benefits and Compensation:

  • 140k+ base salary
  • 280k+ OTE (based on team's performance)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in medical device sales AND 3+ years of management experience
  • HUGE PLUS if you have sold capital equipment to psychiatrists or private clinics
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a sales team, particularly in remote or virtual environments.
  • Strong knowledge of the medical device industry, healthcare regulations, and telehealth trends.
  • Experience in managing a geographically dispersed team is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time, with a focus on in-person visits to regional territories.
