the girl & the fig in in Sonoma is currently seeking an experienced Host to join our team.
We are a restaurant group with multiple locations in the Sonoma Valley, which includes the girl & the fig in Sonoma, the fig cafe in Glen Ellen, the girl & the fig CATERS!, Suite D, and our FIGfood product line. We strive to use the best in local, sustainable food, and we continually develop many in-hours programs to promote those ideals. Our Hosts welcome our guests on arrival and manage the efficient and timely seating of each guest while providing gracious, efficient, and knowledgeable service.
A Typical Day Includes...
- Being the first and last point of contact for our guests
- Seating guests and providing estimated wait times
- Answering phones and redirecting calls or taking messages as needed
- Scheduling and confirming dining reservations
- Keeping retail area stocked and organized and lounge area clean and ready for guests
- General restaurant knowledge
- Requires standing more than 90% of time during shift
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
- Entry-level
- Part-time, weekend availability required
- Hourly wage for this position is $17.60 + gratuities
