Central Valley has been voted among the Best Places to work in the North Bay by the North Bay Business Journal. We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable II for our Napa Administrative Office.

The Accounts Receivable Associate II performs a variety of duties to ensure the company is extending credit to new applicants and existing customers in accordance with the Equal Credit Opportunity Act guidelines and Central Valley credit policy.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • A.A. degree in business-related major and 2-5 years job-related experience required.
  • 2-3 years' experience in accounting or account receivable function required.
  • Familiarity with accounting software programs required.
  • Experience with construction receivables preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Answers incoming calls and emails from customers, stores and other company departments.
  • Processes new credit and cash applications, completes credits references and updates customer accounts.
  • Prepares, mails and tracks preliminary notices to Project Parties.
  • Contacts customers with overdue accounts and maintains collection activity in company software program.
  • Assists Payment Specialist during peak payment period.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
  • Comfortable with learning various software programs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, outside contacts, and all levels of employees in person on the telephone
  • Ability to review written credit information, credit information generated on computer
  • Excellent communication, written and inter-personal skills
  • Experience with customer service and client communication
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
