Additional duties include security maintenance and safety inspections.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Facility Management•Perform a variety of duties that require or may not require direct supervision.•Maintain Redwood Group facilities to ensure a safe, efficient, and inviting environment.•Coordinate with contractors and vendors associated with the upkeep and supply of Redwood Group facilities.•Maintain all building alarm and fire permits, fire systems and facility inspections.•Assist Facilities Manager in maintaining all facility operations for compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations including ADA and OSHA.•Communicate with departments, branches, and Facilities Manager in an effective, courteous manner regarding planned and scheduled facilities maintenance and repairs.•Maintain established facilities to the standards as set forth by The Redwood Group policies and procedures.•Assist with all functions of shipping, receiving, and mailroom duties such as outgoing, incoming, and interoffice mail between Redwood facilities.•On- call availability at all times for emergency situations (i.e., maintenance, security sensitive issues, etc.).Administrative Management•Maintain the operations, installation and repair of The Redwood Group building systems including but not limited to electrical, HVAC, water, sewer, plumbing, signs, and lighting.•Facilitate maintenance of critical branch equipment to include vaults, safes, night drops, teller equipment and furniture.•Maintain departmental policies, procedures to establish priorities.•Assist Facilities Manager in developing short/long-term goals and facility master plans.•Maintain logs/records and routinely update Facilities Department Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) database; prepare reports as directed by the Facilities Manager.Other Functions•Maintain workstation ergonomic situations as required.•Attend training, meetings and participate on committees as required.•Provide general assistance to the Facilities Manager.•Complete special projects or perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualification: Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of building operations/maintenance and generally accepted building practices.Knowledge of blueprint reading and understanding of all types of architectural drawings.Knowledge of building security/access systems.Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of building/mechanical trades.Knowledge of ADA and OSHA regulations as well as local and national building codes.Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.Ability to perform journey level work in one or more trades including but not limited to electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and/or electronic systems.Ability to act independently and confidentially with little to no supervision.Ability to analyze situations and implement solutions independently.Ability to perform arithmetic calculations as required by the job.Ability to coordinate with and track work performance of contractors and vendors.Ability to distinguish and manage confidential information, materials, and conversations.Ability to work a flexible schedule on all hours and days, including on-call.Ability to operate machinery and power/hand tools.Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a diverse environment.Ability to operate a personal computer and software including word processing, email, intra/internet.Ability to use personal vehicle to travel to all current and future branches and offices in the greater north bay area required.Physical RequirementsAbility to endure cold, heat, rain, and physical elements as necessary.Ability to endure more than 8-hour workdays as needed.Ability to climb a ladder, stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist, turn and drive.Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds as needed.Work environment is indoors and outdoors.Licenses and CertificationsAbility to maintain a valid California driver's license.Ability to obtain and maintain registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry in compliance with the requirements of Federal Law, including the SAFE ACT and NCUA part 761.The ideal candidate has a combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma with a minimum of four years of facilities maintenance experience and/or journey-level trade experience (i.e., electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction, etc.) required. Building trade school and/or trade certifications in a directly related field strongly preferred. Must have a valid California Driver's License with clean driving record and be bondable.Compensation: Base starting range: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour commensurate with experience. Our base salary starting range is based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal peer equity.
