About the Role
As a Home Health Aide, you'll provide essential care and support to patients in their own homes. You'll assist with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
â ¢ Personal Care: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
â ¢ Household Chores: Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning.
â ¢ Medication Reminders: Remind patients to take medications as prescribed.
â ¢ Vital Signs: Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
â ¢ Companionship: Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
â ¢ Transportation: Assist with transportation to medical appointments or errands.
Qualifications
â ¢ High school diploma or equivalent
â ¢ Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) is preferred but not always required
â ¢ Basic knowledge of healthcare procedures
â ¢ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
â ¢ Compassionate and empathetic demeanor
â ¢ Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
