The Lobby (fromthelobby.com) is a marketplace for brands and influencers to discover and collaborate with each other. We've built a passionate community of thousands of influencers and enabled many of the most successful influencer programs for top brands like Magic Spoon, Jolie and Madewell.


About the Opportunity...

We are looking to bring on a highly analytical and strategic leader to head up the brand success side of our marketplace and own our brand management program soup to nuts.


This position offers a unique opportunity for a candidate who is excited to run an entire part of the business and capable of operationalizing a program with a myriad of moving parts. Accordingly, we are looking for someone who is obsessive about the details, can move effortlessly between the creative and the analytical and is just as good at strategy as they are at rolling up their sleeves and getting things done.


What you'll do...

Completely own, oversee and manage the day to day of our brand management program

  • monitor and analyze performance of all managed brands every week to identify problems and opportunities
  • Manage a lean but growing team of account managers/coordinators
  • oversee account manager work on a day to day basis to ensure their metrics are on track; jump in to figure out how to get back on track when challenges arise

Build out and refine our brand success program

  • Continue to expand our brand knowledge-base and educational materials
  • Build process, systems and tools to streamline onboarding and day to day management of brands, ensuring on time task completion

Develop influencer marketing strategies for brands

  • Work with Brand Success Coordinator on strategic deliverables for brands on our platform including
  • Quarterly strategy & plan development
  • Monthly campaign ideation
  • Monthly program analysis & recommendations

Work cross functionally with other leads on strategic projects including

  • Influencer sourcing & curation: Making sure our influencer team is growing our influencer community to meet the needs of our brand community
  • Referral strategy: Getting influencers to bring brands onto the platform and brands to bring influencers
  • Product development: Becoming a deep expert on our customer and an avid user of our product, so you can advocate for the features that our brand community needs most


What we're looking for...

We re looking for a candidate that has 5-7 years of experience, ideally in a quantitative role. Previous experience at a fast growing startup is strongly preferred. Besides that, we re looking for someone who is:

  • A ruthless analyst: You are obsessed with the numbers, seek data to validate your hypotheses and are always the first to run a back of the envelope
  • A social media nerd: You are fascinated by influencers and social and you pay close attention to what s happening (trending conversations, content and community) on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
  • A creative strategist: You can easily merge emotion and logic and come up with creative ideas that drive impact
  • A hustler at heart: You love a good challenge, are quick on your feet and always manage to figure out a solution regardless of what comes up
  • A quick and driven executor: you know how to move quickly, prioritize well and plow through a todo list
  • A confident, low ego leader: You can completely own the problem from the high level to the details, always willing to dig in and do what needs done

The Lobby is a female-founded, venture-backed startup. We are a small team (just ~10 of us!) of people who are passionate about transforming the future of marketing by making influencer marketing as easy to scale as Google and Facebook ads.


The Lobby is backed by First Round Capital, Uncork Capital, SV Angel and other top e-commerce investors (including early investors in Pinterest, Refinery29, Cuyana and The RealReal).


Prior to COVID, the team worked in sunny San Francisco and enjoyed happy hours and strolls to our favorite sandwich shop in the city (always extra avocado). Since the pandemic, we've adapted to working remotely, though much of our team lives in the Bay Area and LA.
